Owa Akinfin Marks 6th Ikinfin Day Anniversary
The Owa Akinfin of Ikinfin kingdom in Boluwaduro Local Government in Osun State, His Royal Majesty, Oba Bamidele Samson Olufemi, Ilufemiloye1, has celebrated the 6th Ikinfin Day anniversary.
The event which was held at the Akinfin palace attracted prominent personalities who stormed Ikinfin Town to grace the occasion.
The Akinfin of Ikifin Kingdom who is the Arole Obalufon Ogbogbodirin is the 28th Owa Akinfin of Ikinfin Kingdom and the first Akinfin that received Staff of Office from government.
The people of Ikinfin in their beautiful dresses came out in large numbers for the celebration of the 6th Ikinfin Day anniversary.
The State Governor, Asiwaju Nurudeen Ademola Jackson Adeleke commended the people of Ikinfin for the peaceful coexistence in the town and assured them of government presence in the town.
The Governor who was represented by Honorable Olubukola Onifade charge the people of Ikinfin to continue to support the monarch in his efforts to attract development to the town.
The event featured a launching of 500million for the new ultra-modern palace of Owa Akinfin of Ikinfin Kingdom.
The Aremo Obalufon of Obalufon land, His Royal Majesty, Oba Mukaila Micheal Adebisi while speaking with newsmen congratulated the Owa Akinfin on the successful celebration of the 6th Ikinfin Day anniversary.
