Oba Makama Hails Olowu, Oba Matemilola At 61
Olowu of Kuta, HRM Oba Dr Hameed Oyelude Makama, CON, Tegbosun iii, has congratulated Olowu of Owu, Abeokuta, HRM Oba Prof Saka Matemilola, Otileta V11, on his 61 birthday anniversary.
Olowu, in a statement issued by his media office on Monday, said Oba Matemilola has distinguished himself before ascending the throne of his forebears and has continued in the same trajectory.
Oba Makama lauded Oba Matemilola for being a custodian of culture and tradition and for keeping the legacy that distinguished the Owus home and abroad.
” Kabiyesi, on behalf of my Oloris and Olowu- Kuta in council, I wish you a happy birthday and many more years of service to humanity and fatherland.” Makama added.
Oba Matemilola, a professor and Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE), ascended the throne of his forebears as the Otileta VII in July 2022 and has since been celebrated for his intellectual depth, humility, and visionary leadership within the Owu Kingdom and beyond.
