Awujale Stool: Ogun Govt Names Olorogun Sunny Kuku Administrative Chair

The Ogun State Government has named Chief Olorogun Sunny Kuku as the chairman of its administrative committee to oversee the selection of new Awujale.

The Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon Ganiyu Hamzat in a statement signed on Wednesday in Abeokuta said the committee would supretendent over the management of various administrative and traditional responsibilities during the period of transition, until a new Awujale is installed.

The statement also urged the people to remain law abiding, peaceful and support the ongoing process, ‘as government remains resolute in its commitment to transparency, inclusiveness and preservation of our cultural heritage.’
