Eid Maulud: Jakande Extends Greetings To Muslim Community

Hon. Seyi Jakande, the Executive Chairman of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA, has extended warm greetings to the Muslim faithful in Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye and across Lagos State on the auspicious occasion of Eid Maulud.

The day commemorates the birth of the beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and serves as a time for reflection, gratitude, and reaffirmation of faith.

In a heartfelt message released from his media office, the Chairman charged Muslim ummah in the community to unite as one, sharing with the needy.

“Eid Maulud is not only a celebration of the Prophet’s life and teachings but also an opportunity for us to come together in unity and compassion,” Jakande stated.

“It is a time to strengthen the bonds of community, extend kindness to one another, and engage in acts of charity and goodwill.”

The Chairman emphasized the importance of embodying the principles of love, peace, and harmony that the Prophet exemplified throughout his life. He urged community members to reach out to those in need during this blessed occasion, saying, “As we celebrate, I encourage everyone to share the joy of this time with those around us.”

Jakande concluded his message with a heartfelt wish for abundance and joy, stating, “May this Eid Maulud bring you and your families abundant blessings, joy, and prosperity. Together, let us continue to build a community that reflects the values of empathy, understanding, and respect for all.”
