From : Ayodele Ajoge, Birnin-Kebbi
The Coalition of Special Advisers to Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasiru Idris during the week has vowed to drag the former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of justice, Abubakar Malami to court over a purported petition he made against the State Governor recently.
The spokesman for the coalition who is also the Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Duties, Shafiu Abubakar Shattiman stated this at a news chat with Journalists as he accused the the former Minister of attempting to bring discord and disharmony to Kebbi state.
Shattiman criticised the former Attorney-General for making what he described as reckless, dangerous and frivolous allegations that the Kebbi state governor was sponsoring terrorism.
“Most of us who know Malami are not surprised by his antics. He once took his master, Atiku Abubakar, to court that he’s a non Nigerian.’
“His antecedents were also manifested when he took former member, House of Representatives, Wambam KoKo, now his close associate, to the ICPC and the EFCC when Wambai at that time indicated interest to contest for governorship.’
“Malami is not a lover of Kebbi, he has not shown benevolence to the people nor contributed to the infrastructural development of the state.’
“Kebbi is known for absolute peace and tranquility, he’s not happy about the successes recorded by incumbent Governor Nasir Idris on the development of the state.” He said.
He said further that, at a time Governor Idris is focused on the development of Kebbi State Malami’s only contribution is to cause chaos.
Pointing out, therefore, that it’s a decision of the people of our dear state to take legal action against Malami for defamation, character assassination, and troubleshooting.
