Osun Monarch Seeks Adeleke’s Intervention Over Plot To Revoke His Title 

A traditional ruler in Boluwaduro Local Government area of Osun State, HRM Oba Adebisi Mukaila Micheal, the OlokeOlooru Obalufon of Okeolooruon Obalufon land Aremo Obalufon Ogbogbodirin has appealed to Governor Ademola Adeleke to halt the plot to revoke his title. 

Oba Adebisi received Staff of Office and certificate from the State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Barr. Dosu Babatunde during his coronation ceremony recently. 

The event was attended by top personalities including the Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General, Barrister Jimi Bada the Permanent Secretary and Director at the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Femi Ogundun and Wale Aliu among others.

Oba Adebisi was installed by Arole Obalufon Ogbogbodirin, the Owa Akinfin of Ikinfin kingdom HRM Oba Bamidele Samson Oluwafemi Ilufemiloye 1st.

The monarch said his appointment followed due process, approved by state Exco during cabinet meeting and published in the state’s gazette. 

The monarch said after his installation, the Permanent Secretary and Director at the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Femi Ogundun and Wale Aliu were making an attempt to withdraw the letter and to revoke his appointment as Oba and remove it from the gazette. 

He said a fellow tradition ruler, Onirante who also received appointment letter, staff of Office and certificate along with him same day was asked to retuned his letter, saying that the move was wrong and unacceptable. 

Oba Adebisi called on Governor Ademola Adeleke and the Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General of Osun State to intervene in the matter to stop the the PS and Director from the illegal moves.
