We’ll Support ACF To Achieve Its Objective-Idris

Kebbi state governor Nasiru Idris has assured the chairman board of trustees of the Arewa Consultative Forum that he would support the group to achieve its objectives.

The Governor stated this when Alhaji Dalhatu Wazirin Dutse, chairman of the ACF board of trustees paid him a courtesy visit at the weekend.

Speaking earlier, Alhaji Dalhatu said as the group celebrates its 25th years of its existence, the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), he said has expressed it’s readiness to remain resolute in the protection, projection and promotion of northern interests and values at all times.

Dalhatu Dutse told the governor that the forum was established in year 2000, which would be celebrated from the 20th – 22nd of October in Kaduna.

“Primarily, the ACF was created to champion northern interests in economic and social sectors, even politics, but we remain non partisan.

“We have keen interest in politics especially issues affecting the north.

“The ACF has made tremendous progress in the fulfilment of its mandate, it has recorded successes in safeguarding the wellbeing of Northern Nigeria.” He said.
