Bola Orija Foundation Lauds Organisers Of Lagos Women Run ….Advocates More Support For Girl-Child

The waves- making Lagos Women Run event has continued to receive massive support and accolades from stakeholders and fitness enthusiasts.
One prominent figure who has thrown his weight behind the kerp-fit initiative is businessman and philanthropist, Mr. Bolanle Orija, who is also the President and founder of Bola Orija Charity Foundation.
Speaking with journalists in Lagos, he lavished praises on the organisers of the elite women’s race, stating that it is a well conceived initiative that would continue to put the women and particularly, the girl-child in the consciousness of the people.
“I commend the organisers of this laudable initiative. It is not only about fitness, but also an opportunity for women to interact and network for their betterment. “Bola Orija Charity Foundation, is happy and look forward to contributing its own support to the development of the girl-child.
“We understand that government cannot do it all alone. We’re, therefore, calling on well placed individuals and corporate organisations, to key into such gender based initiatives.
“That’s why we’re planning on contributing to the development of the girl-child through our programmes that will help give life and renewed hope to the female folks,” he enthused.
“In the next few weeks, Bola Orija foundation shall roll out comprehensive plans to help support and encourage the people in the communities, through health, wellbeing, poverty alleviation and skills acquisition programmes,” he added.
