Former Lagos FA Secretary Okikioposu Wins Vacant LSFA Board Seat

 Former Secretary of Lagos State Football Association, Mr. Akeem Rabiu-Okikioposu, has emerged as the duly elected member of the Lagos FA, having unanimously received the votes of all congress members, at the bye-election for the vacant seat on the LSFA board.

The electoral event supervised by the Electoral Committee Chairman, Alhaji Tijani Azeez, saw the other contestant for the vacant position, Mr. Musbau Oseni, stepped down for his opponent.

After the electoral process and the swearing in of the newly elected board member by Barrister Ibidoyin Aina, Okikioposu, who was also a former secretary of Ikeja Divisional Football Association, in his speech thanked the congress, the board members and all the stakeholders for the confidence reposed in him.

He particularly praised his opponent, for his show of sportsmanship, while he also promised to bring his wealth of administrative experience garnered over the years to bear positively on development and growth of the game in Lagos State and Nigeria.
