Intra-Party Crisis:Court Restrains ADC Chairman, Deputy, Secretary In Kebbi

The Kebbi State High Court presided over by Justice Sabin Shuaibu, during the week has restrains Alhaji Sofiyanu Bala Junaidu, Alhaji Muhammad Modi and Hauwa Muhammad from parading themselves as Chairman, Deputy Chairman and Secretary of the of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the State.
Addressing a selected journalists at a press conference in Birnin-Kebbi, the acting Publicity Secretary of the party, Muhammad Jemilu on behalf of the acting State Chairman, Alhaji Abdulrasak Abubakar stated that they approached the court to restrains the mentioned names from further parading themselves as Chairman, Deputy Chairman and Secretary of the party.
Jemilu explained that the acting Chairman of the party, Abdulrasak Abubakar and his interim Excos had approached the court to stop Sofiyanu Bala Junaidu, Muhammad Modi and Hauwa Muhammad as the leaders of ADC in the State and must stop running the affairs of the party.
“With this development, the State High Court had henceforth stopped the three persons from parading themselves and holding meetings as representatives of ADC.” Jemilu stated.
He stated further “the Court in its wisdom had ordered the three persons their fellow Excos and their agents to stop parading themselves as such, pending the next hearing and determination of a motion before the High Court.”
