JANDOR For Jagaban! Lagos4Lagos Convener Launches Support Group For Tinubu’s 2027 Reelection
Ahead of 2027 presidential election, former governorship candidate in 2023 general election in Lagos state and convener of Lagos4Lagos, Dr Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, popularly known as JANDOR has inaugurated a campaign team tagged “JANDOR for Jagaban” for the second term bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Speaking at the launch in Lagos on Thursday, JANDOR, who is also a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in the state said:”Nobody will underrate our resolve in grassroots lock down in the state again, and we’ve got it forever.
“Under 48 hours, and you turned out massively like this. Talking about 2027, nobody can fault you for having ambition. For expressing your 2027 ambition in JANDOR, nobody can fault you. Our president nobody gave him the chance and he stood up and said ‘Emilokan’ and he got it when nobody gave him a chance.
“On Oct 1 this year, I declare my ambition again for the governorship. We put the structure today for one purpose; for the victory of the APC in Lagos in 2027, irrespective of who is on the ballot and, by extension, the success of our leader’s second term in 2027. Again, the non Yoruba speaking in Lagos has always been in the Lagos4Lagos, and he’s with us today here.
“We have structure of not just the entire Ndigbo, but the structure of Igbo dominated markets. We’re going to work together for the success of Lagos state and by extension for President Tinubu’s second term.
“We’re not doing it in isolation of the party in Lagos. I spoke to the state chairman yesterday, and he promised to send a youth leader to represent him,” he added.
JANDOR also maintained that the 15% tariff that President Tinubu imposed on imported fuel remains the best option to grow the local economy, adding that it would reduce the pressure on the forex.
Speaking earlier, the Central Coordinator of Lagos4Lagos Funke Ijaiyekunle who welcomes the apex team to the inauguration “said on behalf of the Excellency Dr Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, JANDOR, and our apex leader, I welcome you to this inauguration.”
Reeling out the slogan, ‘Jagaban, JANDOR 2027’, the group chorus the slogan in ecstatic frenzy, while singing the praises of the convener of Lagos4Lagos.
Also speaking at the occasion, Shakirudeen Ola Apena, a leader of the Lagos4Lagos apex from Kosofe said “this is a journey that would take us to Alausa in 2027, it’s a journey of the reelection of our leader, the Jagaban, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in 2027. Nobody will be forgotten.
” Everyone will be rewarded under the administration of Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran.”
Chief Dr Jonathan Nnaji, the leader of the Ndigbo is the state added that ” JANDOR is a man who sets a clear vision and takes tough decisions.
“If you give Nigeria to JANDOR, he would run it well. By the time he finishes with Lagos, people will be begging him to come and take over Nigeria.”
Afterwards, all the team were administered with the oath of office from the apex to the wards preparatory to when the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, would announce the timetable for 2027 general elections.
