Aftermath Of Terrorists Attack On Kebbi, Niger Schools, Parents Storm FGGC Bwari To Pick Their Children

Many parents have stormed the Federal Government Girls’ College (FGGC) Bwari, Abuja, on November 22 to pick their children after the news filtered out that Federal Government has shut the 41 Unity Colleges over insecurity.

Many students were seen leaving in droves.

In a statement signed by Ali Ibrahim, the acting PRO of the school, FGGC Bwari said it is “closing temporarily” as part of a “precautionary measure”.

In the early hours of Saturday, parents were seen bringing their children’s luggage out of the school.

Some students were also seen clutching luggage on the sidewalk as security officers looked on.

There has been a surge in mass abduction of schoolchildren across the north-west and north-central regions.
