Rename Maga Girls School After The Slain VP, Speaker Abbas Urges Gov Idris

The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly, the Right Hon. Abbas Tajudeen on Monday in Birnin-Kebbi pleaded with the Kebbi State government to as a matter of sympathy and love of his adopted Students rename the Government Science Girls Secondary School Maga in Kebbi State after the Vice Principal who laid down his life for the Students.

Rt. Hon Tajudeen disclosed this during his emphatic visits to the State along with some prominent members of the House including members from the State in the Federal House of Representatives.

The Speaker assured the Governor and the entire people of the State that the National Assembly is working  hand in hand with the Federal Government and the Security agencies to ensure timely rescue of the adopted Children.

“Hearts go out to you as we share in your pains at this point in time when parents and relatives of the affected victims are in sorrow. We, therefore, announced the donation of N30 million, the families of the Vice Principal, and other staff killed in the process of adoption.” He said.

In his speech the Governor, Comrade Nasiru Idris thanked visiting Rep members, assuring that the naming of the School after the Vice Principal is already done as requested.
