Idris Presents ‘Budget Of Growth, Empowerment And Transformation’ To Kebbi’s Assembly

Governor Nasiru Idris of Kebbi State has on Thursday presented the 2026 Appropriation bill of N642.987 billion to the Kebbi State House of Assembly.
The budget which was tagged “Budget of Growth, Empowerment and Transformation according to the Governor was structured to combat and improves infrastructure developments across the State.
The Governor expresses that of the total sum, Capital expenditures would gulp the total sum of N479.35 billion, while the Recurrent expenditure would gulps N163.13 billion representing 75% and 25% respectively.
He pointed out that the total sum of N338.551 of the budget would be financed from the Federation Account.
The governor pointed out further that the welfare of retirees empowerment remain a top priority of his administration, with the State designation as Agro Processing zone will receives uttermost important in the agric transformation of Argungu and Zuru areas.
On security, governor Idris said with the recent abductions of females Students in the State, security Empowerment is core to his administration and will receives an unwaivering supports at all times.
