NBBF President Musa Kida Celebrates With Nigerians On New Year, Prays For A Peaceful,  Progressive Nigerian Basketball

The President of Nigeria Basketball Federation, Engr (Dr). Ahmadu Musa Kida has sent a congratulatory message to Nigerians and particularly, the stakeholders, promoters and enthusiasts of the Nigerian basketball community, in celebration of the new year, 2026.

Kida stated that the entire Basketball stakeholders and indeed all Nigerians have every reason to celebrate the new year and to be happy with the current socio-economic development in the country, as well as, in the world of sports in particular.

Kida, who doubles as the Non Executive Chairman of the board of the Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited, went ahead to admonish Nigerians to remain forthright and prayerful in the new year 2026.

He noted the importance of unity, peace,  commitment and patriotism in the Nigerian basketball community, and urged those fanning the flames of hatred and deceit to stop their actions which are capable of throwing the NBBF into crisis that have long been put behind, adding that only a united, committed and patriotic front, can truly build on the already achieved successes that will help the growth and development of the game in Nigeria. 

Kida, further assured stakeholders, investors, promoters and enthusiasts of the unflinching commitment of the board of the NBBF, towards making the game better and attractive.
