NATHANIEL IDOWU-AJEGUNLE U14 LEAGUE:Matchday Two Promises Drama, Fireworks, Goals..As players, Officials Set To Honour Wilfred Ndidi’s Late Dad

Matchday, two of the ongoing Nathaniel Idowu-Ajegunle U14 football league continues Saturday at the Nathaniel Idowu pitch, Oregie, Ajegunle The opening day of the much followed youth football developmental tournament produced lots of exciting moments, and interestingly, 21 goals were recorded from the six matches played on the day.
As the impressive crowd of football lovers expected at the matches venue look forward to another thrilling moments of raw displays of football skills by the starry-eyed lads, the teams, according to the organisers would honour the late father of Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi, with a minute silence, as well as, a symbolic black armband during all the matches of the day.
Speaking on the development, Director-General of Ajeromi-Ifelodun Sports Council, McAnthony Anaelechukwu, noted that Wilfred Ndidi is a very important and significant contributor to the new waves enthusiasm and fresh air billowing across the Ajegunle community, through his immeasurable annual football and youth empowerment initiatives in Ajegunle.
Matchday two of the tournament which kicks off 12pm, begins with Pure Talents FA squaring up against Young 11 FA. Michael May FA and Best of Best Int’l FA face each other in the second of the day.
Other matches include Divinely Blessed FA versus Bright Future FA; Strong Dove FA against Fortune FA; Ajegunle SC tackles Sharp Talent FA, while the last game of the day, features Moree Wins FA and Coal City FA.
