Osun FA Board Approves Development Of Digital Football Registration Portal

The Board of the Osun State Football Association has approved the development and deployment of a comprehensive Digital Football Registration Portal for clubs, players, coaches, and referees across the state.

This landmark decision was reached at the Board’s recent meeting as part of its ongoing commitment to modernizing football administration, strengthening governance, and aligning Osun State football with national and international best practices.

The proposed portal will serve as a centralized platform for the registration, verification, and management of football stakeholders. It is designed to improve efficiency, eliminate manual processes, enhance transparency, and create a reliable, searchable database for football development and planning.

The Board has directed that the portal be developed in line with global standards and integrated with relevant national and international systems where applicable.

The project will include secure data management, automated workflows, and user-friendly interfaces for all stakeholders.

In preparation for full deployment, comprehensive training programmes will be organized for administrators, clubs, and users across the state.

These capacity-building sessions will ensure effective utilization of the platform and smooth transition from manual to digital registration processes.

Following the completion of development and user training, the Digital Registration Portal is scheduled for full deployment in the second quarter of 2026.

The Board expresses its confidence that this initiative will significantly enhance football administration, improve regulatory compliance, and support sustainable football development in Osun State.

The Association calls on all stakeholders to cooperate fully with the implementation process in the collective interest of football growth and professionalism in the state.
