Our Football Goes Beyond Ethnic And Religions- Hajji Gafar Liameed ..As 36 Lion FC Receive Members From Fellowship Of Christian Athletes

The camp of Lagos based football club, 36 Lion bubbled with unbridled excitement as it on sunday, received as guests, representatives of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes from the United States of America.
The guests included Jeffrey Fitzgerald, Jodi Mc. Mullen,from the USA, Dave Jucos from Benin Republic, Bishop Lawson, from the Niger Delta in Nigeria, and Mike Adebayo, a renowned grassroots football coach from Ajegunle, Lagos.
In his speech, Hajji Gafar Liameed, the Chairman of Lagos State Football Association, was quick to express his appreciation to the representatives of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, an organisation founded in the early 1950s, by Don McClanen, in Oklahoma, for the epocha visit.
“Let me make my sincere appreciation to Jeffrey Fitzgerald and Jodi Mc. Mullen from the United States of America, representatives of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, for taking the time to visit, encourage and fellowship with our boys.
“I also extend heartfelt gratitude to Dave Jucos from Benin Republic, Bishop Lawson, a Niger Delta brother from Badagry and Mike Adebayo from Ajegunle Lagos for their presence and support. Special thanks to Bishop Lawson for introducing this great organisation to 36 Lion Football Club and helping build this meaningful bridge.
“At 36 Lion FC, our core principle is humanity first. Our football transcends religion, embraces all races, and unites people, regardless of ethnicity or background. Today’s visit perfectly reflects that spirit of unity, faith, character and global brotherhood.
“Jeff and Jodi generously presented each of our players with a Holy Bible, a gesture that brought great joy to the boys. I was personally touched and elated to also receive a copy,” he added conclusively, in an emotion laden tone.
