US Courtroom Drama: Funke Ashekun, Husband Collapse As Jurist Orders Her To Pay MFM $300, 000 Fine

There was a mild drama in Baltimore County Circuit Court on 13th March 2026, as the jurist sĺammèd Funke Ashekun with $300,000 fine for defaming the General Ovèrseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miraclès Ministries Worldwide, Dr DK Olukoya.

In a landmark judgment handed down by the Circuit Court of Baltimore County Maryland on the 13th of March 2026 in the matter of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries USA, INC vs Olufunke Ashekun, the plaintiff successfully prosecuted its claims of Defamation and Falsehood resulting in a binding Court order against Olufunke Ashekun for compensatory damages in the sum of $250,000 and punitive damages in the sum of $50,000 immediately awarded to Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries USA, INC.

In granting the judgment and damages, the Court said it recognized the prolonged intense and malicious campaign conducted by Olufunke Ashekun against Dr Olukoya and the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries who were seriously concerned by the reach and extent of her destructive rhetoric.

The Court, by a unanimous jury decision, ruled that Funke Ashekun’s campaign negatively affected the professional integrity of Mountain of Fire and their reputations as widely publicized by Ashekun.

It is noteworthy that a day to the ruling by the jury, Funke Ashekun slumped in court when she realized that the case was already overwhelmingly against her due to her weak, worthless and inadmissible evidence and witnesses.

She was taken out from the court by an emergency 911 Ambulance.

Her husband also suffered the same fate the following day, exactly like Biblical Ananiahs and Saphirah when he came to submit a medical report on behalf of his wife which did not stop the jury from proceeding with their verdict.
