Nigerian Lady Traveling To Libya Arrested In Kebbi

A 24 years old Nigerian Lady who gave her name as Bunmi Babatunde who was being traffiking to Libya has been arrested and detained by the Authorities of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Kebbi State Command.
The Comptroller of NIgeria Immigration Service, Kebbi State Command Mrs Rabi Bashir Nuhu, while parading the Lady before newsmen explained that the lady was arrested by officials of the NIS at their patrol post in Yauri as she was waiting to meet with a yet to be identify lady who was arranging her journey to Libya from Sokoto.
While handing her over to officials of he National Agency For People Trafficking in Person (NAPTIP ) Head of operations, Sadiq Atiku Abubakar, in her office, Nuhu said from the various items they discovered in her luggage, it was certain that she had made enough provisions for the long journey to Libya.
She added that the Libya-bound lady also concealed her identity as she earlier told immigration officials that her name was Temitope but upon further investigation, she confessed to them that her real name is Bunmi Babatunde.
While answering questions from journalists, Bunmi admitted she left Ibadan to meet a lady who was expected to arrange her journey to Libya from Sokoto.
