Kebbi Deputy Governor Distances Self From Defection Rumours

The Kebbi State Deputy Governor, Col. Samaila Yombe (retd), has declared the last weekend APC Presidential Campaign rally in the State as a huge success ever witness in the political rallies in the State. He has also distanced himself from mischief makers attaching his photographs as aspirant of opposition party.
Col. Yombe who was speaking with newsmen shortly after the rally, lauded the turnout of the party’s well wishers across the State and affirmed that the success of the party was a clear indication of a victory roadmap for the party in the coming elections in the State.
The Deputy Governor who at an interactive session with some newsmen explained that he cannot come to terms with such rumors from the opposition party attaching his pictures as Deputy Governorship candidate of an opposition party describing it as an illusion of some disgruntled element in the State.
He further maintained that APC was his first political journey in his entire life and remain resolute to it’s victory even after leaving office he would decorate his time flying his aircraft locally and internationally.
The Deputy Governor equally use the medium in calling on all eligible voters to collect their voter’s card as that remains the only tool to be used in showing love for the party.
He revealed that his relationship with the APC presidential candidate Bola Ahmad Tinubu back to the 80s in United States of America, adding that when Tinubu becomes President of Nigeria, kebbi State’s tourist activities will be improved citing various cultural activities like Argungu fishing festival, Boat Rigata festival in Yauri, Uhola cultural festival in Zuru Emirate would be given much priority which in turn would attract tourists and generate revenue that will reduce overdependence on government.
Col Yombe-Dabai equally urged electorates in the State to vote for Dr Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu) as Governor of the State along side all APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.
