Zamfara State Indigenes Kick Against Rep Aminu Jaji’s Ambition To Become National Assembly Speaker

Concerned citizens on Wednesday in a statement signed by Abdullahi Kaura, said that Jaji was a man who ensured his party lost the governorship polls in his constituency (Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji federal constituency), betrayed his party for the opposition as his anti-party activities were evident in the state.

 Some Zamfara State indigenes under the umbrella of the Concerned Citizens Of Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency of the state have rejected in strongest terms, the aspiration of a member of House of Representatives, Aminu Jaji, to become the next Speaker of the House in the yet-to-be-inaugurated 10th National Assembly.

The concerned citizens on Wednesday in a statement signed by Abdullahi Kaura, said that Jaji was a man who ensured his party lost the governorship polls in his constituency (Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji federal constituency), betrayed his party for the opposition as his anti-party activities were evident in the state.

The statement added that there was a huge allegation against Jaji that he was the one behind all the leaked phone conversations of prominent persons like Lt. Gen Aliyu Gusau (Rtd), and Governor Yahaya Inuwa among others.Kaura warned that “Nigerians must dodge a bullet as we must ensure a peeping Tom does not become the Speaker,” explaining that, “A peeping Tom is a person who derives sexual pleasure from secretly watching people undressing or engaging in sexual activity, but in this context, it is someone who betrays his allies and parties and also eavesdrops on conversations of prominent Nigerians.”

He alleged that “Aminu Jaji is a man who ensured his party lost the guber polls in his constituency (Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji federal constituency), betrayed his party for the opposition as his anti-party activities are evident to everyone in Zamfara and above all, there is a huge allegation against him that he is the one behind all the leaked phone conversations of prominent persons like LT. Gen Aliyu Gusau(Rtd), and Governor Yahaya Inuwa and his Marabout.

“It is further alleged he did this using his allies in the Nigeria Intelligence Agency for this great misconduct and breach of privacy. This unholy alliance we believed he nurtured while he was the Chairman of House of Representatives Committee on Intelligence and Internal Security.

“We urge Nigerians to prevail on their various elected representatives to protect Nigerians and their privacy by resisting the ambition of Aminu Jaji, because the evil they indulge will grow into the devil who will destroy them.

“It is these eminent Nigerians today, it may not be them tomorrow. Let us ensure we do not have a peeping Tom as a Speaker.”
