Paul Pogba Suspended For Anti-Doping Offence

Juventus midfielder, Paul Pogba, has been provisionally suspended according to Italy’s national anti-doping tribunal for an anti-doping offence.
The test, which was performed after Juventus’ victory at Udinese on August 20, detected high rates of testosterone, a hormone that increases athletes’ endurance in the athlete’s body.
The anti-doping agency, Nado Italia, said that Pogba was suspended provisionally with immediate effect. Pogba has been given three days to produce a counter-analysis of the result. And if found guilty of doping, he faces suspension of up to four years.
Pogba’s club, Juventus, released a statement acknowledging the failed test and said they were considering their next steps.
However this is demeaning for a player who has been bothered by injuries ever since rejoining Juventus from Manchester United a little more than a year ago.
