CBN Dissolves Board And Management Of Union, Keystone And Polaris Banks

In one fell swoop, the Central Bank of Nigeria has dissolved the board and management of Union, Keystone and Polaris Banks.

The CBN in a statement issued on Wednesday by its Spokesperson, Sidi Ali Hakama, said the aforementioned banks have contravened corporate governance which is inimical to the economy.

The apex bank however assured the public of safety and security of depositors’ funds.
