” They are no stranger to my service delivery ability. They have trusted me severally with their mandates on different capacity without letting them down. That is why they prayed that I get the ticket to fly the banner of our party, the PDP and since God has graciously granted that prayer, there is nothing stopping us.
“They know who Agbo is and what he is capable of doing. They are waiting to cast their votes for me because they know this effort is about their liberation.
” As the governor of the state, Agbo said he will be less dependent on federal allocation, ensure youths are empowered and people create wealth everywhere in the state instead of limiting wealth creation to the state’s capital.
” The era of waiting till people relocate to the capital city before they can create wealth or be successful entrepreneurs will be over.
” I will focus on the provision of the enabling infrastructures that will in no time, make it easy for the people to grow economically and enable government increase and solidify it’s financial base.
” At the initial period of our administration , the focus will be more on the provision of the needed infrastructures that will drive the economy of the state, to the point of independence from federal allocation” he discolored.
According to the former Federal lawmaker and successful local government administrator, with the available infrastructure, his government can lift the state’s internally generated revenue to over 10 billion naira monthly from it’s present N3b.
” The IGR was initially about a billion naira monthly, my input as deputy governor was part of the reasons it got to N3b so, believe me when I say our government can push it to 10b and above” he submitted.
