The leader of The Progressive Pathfinders, Dr Sunny Ajose, has urged the youths to thread with caution as we approach the planned nationwide
protests scheduled for August 1st to 10th.

The group said though it’s inalienable rights
of every Nigerian to peaceful assembly and protest as enshrined in our constitution and other international instruments.

It said ,it is imperative that these demonstrations are conducted without resorting to violence or any actions that could destabilize our beloved country.

This was contained in a press release issued in Lagos by the group’s Director General, Comrade Dele Ogunsakin

“The group urges all organizers and
participants to commit to peaceful and orderly conduct. Violence, destruction of property, and any form of lawlessness will only undermine the very cause they are advocating for.

” It is essential to remember that peaceful protests are more powerful and impactful than violent ones. They reflect a mature and responsible approach to expressing dissatisfaction and seeking change of policies and actions.

“The Progressive Pathfinders believe in
constructive engagement and dialogue as the bedrock of democratic progress. We
recognize the genuine concerns raised by many Nigerians regarding economic hardships and other pressing issues. However, we also believe that these challenges can be addressed more effectively through cooperation and support
for the current administration.

“Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration
has laid out comprehensive plans aimed at transforming our nation and fulfilling its campaign promises. Key among these are initiatives to revitalize the economy, improve infrastructure, enhance security, and create more job opportunities for our teeming youth population. We therefore implore all Nigerians give this administration the necessary support and time to implement these plans fully.

“Let us not lose sight of our common goal: a
prosperous and stable Nigeria. By working together, we can overcome the challenges we face and build a brighter future for all. We encourage all stakeholders to engage in constructive dialogue and collaborate with the government to find lasting solutions to our problems.

“While we respect the right to protest, we
urge all Nigerians to prioritize peace and stability. Let us channel our energies towards supporting initiatives that will drive our nation forward and
hold our leaders accountable through democratic means. We crave for  understanding and cooperation of all Nigerians, let us all remain committed to the progress and unity of Nigeria.”
