492 First Class Graduates Across The World Receive Olukoya’s Excellence Award

Four hundred and ninety-two graduates who are members of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries across the world have received the award instituted by the general Overseer, Dr Daniel Olukoya to reward brilliant students.

Speaking at the grand finale of its thirty-five years anniversary and convention at the prayer city on Sunday, Dr Olukoya said the idea was to motivate students to study hard to be the best.

Although, he started with car gift to the recipients, Olukoya said in the last few years, he has had to change the car gift to N500,000 and now N250,000 because the number has more than triple since he started it some years back.

Governors Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Prince Dapo Abiodun and Sheriff Oborevwori, of Lagos, Ogun and Delta states who were part of the celebrations took their turns to shake hands with the first class graduates as they filed out to receive their award which was presented by the wife of the general Overseer, Pastor Dr Mrs Sade Olukoya.

It would be recalled that Dr Olukoya, who bagged a first class degree in Microbiology from the University of Lagos got the Commonwealth scholarship for his Doctorate degree at the University of Reading United Kingdom in Molecular Genetics.
