NSC Chairman Shehu Dikko Lauds Musa Kida On Contributions To Growth Of Nigerian Basketball

President of Nigeria Basketball Federation Engr. Ahmadu Musa Kida, last week paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of National Sports Commission, Mallam Shehu Dikko and the Director-General, Bukola Olopade in their offices.
Speaking on the visit of Musa Kida, the NSC Chairman Shehu Dikko congratulated Kida for the good job he is doing with Basketball especially, on the international scene and his personal sacrificing in providing financial support both in sponsorship, grants, as well as, his articulated efforts to ensure the sustainability of Basketball Federation programmes, including Nigeria participation in global competitions.
Dikko further revealed that, “our engagement centered on the preparations and programmes for the Basketball Federation for the year 2025, roadmap for the resolution of all mitigating issues, including financial liabilities, as well as, suggestions on practical steps on how to advance basketball and indeed, sports in Nigeria along the framework of the RHINES Program and the set objectives of President Bola Tinubu for the restructuring of sports industry in Nigeria.”
Dikko further assured that the National Sports Commission (NSC), would continued to engage with all stakeholders across all sports, in the implementation and delivery of its mandate, as well as, providing the enablers to ensure the success of the sports federations.
