Group Empowers Girls, Women In Digital Learning In Kebbi

The Nana Girls and Women Empowerment Initiatives recently hosted a high-profile end-of-project dissemination event, attended by dignitaries from various states in Nigeria.
According to Mr. Isiyaka Abdul-Aziz the Media and Communication head of the Women organisation in a statement made available to newsmen last weekend explained that the event aimed to showcase the organization’s achievements in promoting girls’ and women’s empowerment through digital resources in teaching and learning.
Mr. Abdul-Aziz stated that Honorable Commissioner of Health from Sokoto State, Faruk Umar Abubakar Wurno, and his counterparts from Kano and Niger states, Abubakar Labaran Yusuf and Abdullahi Adamu Mammagi, respectively graced the occasion.
Other notable dignitaries in attendant included the Honorable Commissioner of Health and Human Services, Yobe State who was represented by Hadiza Sabo and the Provost of Shehu Sule College of Nursing Sciences, Damaturu, Yobe State.
The event featured two panel discussions, one comprising provosts and the other consisting of lecturers who commended Nana Girls and Women Empowerment Initiatives for their innovative use of digital resources in teaching and learning in colleges of nursing sciences nationwide they therefore urged the donor to expand the project to benefit more schools.
In her submission, Dr. Ebere Anyachuku who is the Health Adviser to the United Kingdom Foreign Office Commonwealth and Development Office and Justina Joshua-Eke from Global Health.
They expressed satisfaction with the project’s outcomes, adding that the event demonstrated Nana’s commitment to empowering girls and women through education and digital literacy.
