NBBF President Musa Kida Celebrates D’Tigers Afrobasket Qualification..Lauds NSC For Its Timely Support

President of Nigeria Basketball Federation, Engr. Ahmadu Musa Kida, is excited with the performances of the D’Tigers, at the just concluded Afrobasket 3rd window qualifiers in Tripoli, Libya, where Nigeria picked one of the available tickets to the 2025 Afrobasket finals taking place August in Angola.
Kida, who was quite elated, expressed joy and happiness that the players showed hunger and character to overpower their opponents and pave the way for their qualification to the finals of the 2025 Afrobasket finals.
He thanked the players, coaches and officials of the team, for living up to the expectations of their ardent Nigerian supporters.
Kida went on to assure the team and basketball lovers accross the country, that the NBBF will interface with the leadership of the National Sports Commission for all necessary actions, so the team can commence early preparations in order to compete favourably and competitively, at the finals of the Afrobasket.
He particularly mentioned, appreciated and thanked the leadership of the NSC, for the Abuja camp preparations, prior to the qualifiers in Libya, as well as, easing the logistics for the team to be able to participate in the qualifiers.
