Jakande Receives Certificate Of Return As Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye Chairman-Elect
Hon. Seyi Jakande, the newly elected Chairman of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA, has received his Certificate of Return from the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) alongside other chairmen and councillor-elects from the 20 Local Government Areas (LGAs) and 37 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in the state.
The event was held today, at the LASIEC state office in Yaba.
Recall that Jakande emerged winner at the Local Government elections held across the state on Saturday, July 12 where he polled 58,446 to defeat candidates from the other parties fielded for the Odiolowo-Ojuwoye LCDA.

Expressing his gratitude during the presentation ceremony, Jakande praised the leadership of his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), and acknowledged the solid support from the Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye community.
“I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the APC leadership for their guidance and support throughout this process. It has been a team effort, and I am deeply grateful for the trust placed in me by my party and our people,” he stated.
Jakande also took a moment to acknowledge his family and loved ones for their encouragement.
“To my family, thank you for standing by me during this journey. Your belief in my vision has been a source of strength,” he added.
The new chairman is committed to fulfilling the promises made to his constituents during his campaign, which are outlined in his HEWA Agenda focusing on health, education, wealth creation, and empowerment for all.
“I wholeheartedly promise to deliver on the commitments made during the electioneering process. The HEWA Agenda is not just a campaign slogan; it is a roadmap for development that I plan to implement for the betterment of our community,” Jakande affirmed.
As he prepares to assume office, Jakande expressed optimism and a sense of responsibility towards his constituents.
“Together, we will work towards building a stronger and more prosperous Odi-Olowo-Ojuwoye. I am excited about the journey ahead and the positive changes we will bring,” he concluded.
This new chapter for Odi-Olowo-Ojuwoye is anticipated to foster significant developments and strengthen the community’s ties to governance under Jakande’s leadership.
