Jakande At The Helm As Tinubu Unveils Industrial Leather Hub In Mushin
Mushin community became a beacon of progress on Saturday, August 23, as dignitaries from all tiers of government in Lagos State gathered for the grand unveiling of the Industrial Leather Hub at Daily Need Road, Matori Industrial Layout.
The hub, unveiled by the First Lady of the Federation, H.E. Senator Oluremi Tinubu, OON, CON, symbolizes a significant leap forward for local artisans and the broader creative industry in Lagos State.
In a notable announcement during the event, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu renamed the hub the Senator Oluremi Industrial Leather Hub, recognizing the First Lady’s instrumental contributions in bringing this transformative project to fruition and further solidifying her commitment to uplifting local communities.
Built by the Sanwo-Olu’s administration, the Leather Hub is set to revolutionize the Matori area by empowering local artisans with essential resources, training, and educational opportunities. This initiative is designed to enhance skill development and product quality while serving as a catalyst for innovation, local manufacturing, and job creation within the community.
Addressing journalists at the event, Hon. Seyi Jakande expressed his enthusiasm for the project, emphasizing its role in investing in local artisans.
