Independence Day : Kebbi Govt Warns Youth Against Violence

The Kebbi State government has said as part of the 2025 Independence anniversary, coming up tomorrow despites it’s low key celebration, youths in the State would stage a solidarity walk to the government House in solidarity with the State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris.
The State Commissioner for Youth Development, Nura Bala Fingila on behalf of the State government made this known at a post Independence day celebration press conference at the old government house press centre.
Fingila, however, warned youths in the opposition parties to stay clear of procession arrangement warning that any form of obstructions or commotion will not be tolerated and will be decisefuly dealt with in accordance to the law of the State.
While wishing all and sundry in the State a happy Independence, he urges the citizens of the State to cooperate with the State government in it’s development trajectory.
