Group Hails Appointment Of Faith Irabor To CAF Referees Committee

A group of Nigeria sports stakeholders and enthusiasts under the aegis of Friends Of Nigeria Sports (FNS), have hailed the appointment of one of Nigeria and Africa’s leading football female arbiters, Faith Irabor into the newly constituted CAF Referees Committee.
Irabor, who has been appointed into the UFOA/WAFU B Committee is a highly respected football referee and renowned for her incorruptible nature and steadfastness for the rules of the game.

In its statement, National Coordinator of Friends Of Nigeria Sports, Chief Diprieye Thompson, described the appointment as well deserved and a testimonial to her services to the beautiful game.
He went ahead to admonish other football referees, particularly, the younger ones to emulate the feats of the experienced female referee.
He added that the Nigeria football league is getting better because of the roles of decent people like Faith Irabor, in ensuring that there’s sanity and honesty in that very important aspect of the game.
