Dabiri Erewa To Trump: Nigeria Under Tinubu Upholds Religious Freedom, Help Us To Quash Insurgents
The chairperson of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NiDCOM, Dr Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has urged President Donald Trump to support the efforts of President Bola Tinubu to quash the insurgents.
Dabiri-Erewa in a series of posts on her X formerly Twitter @ abikedabiri on Monday said the US President’s efforts at quashing the Boko Haram insurgents with our troops would be appreciated than the designation of Nigeria as ‘Country of Particular Concern’.
The NiDCOM Boss maintained that President Tinubu remains steadfast in upholding democracy, religious freedom, and constitutional guarantees that protect citizens of all faiths.
She said; ” Nigeria under @officialABAT remains steadfast in upholding democracy, religious freedom, and constitutional guarantees that protect citizens of all faiths. Together, we continue to build a nation founded on unity, tolerance, and mutual respect.
“The perception is definitely not true . There are issues with evil terrorists in some parts of the country no doubt. What @POTUS needs to do is support the efforts of our government in quashing them not so falsely denigrate our country.”
