Health For All! 1,000 Residents To Benefit From Odi-Olowo Ojuwoye LCDA Medical Services With Eko Club Atlanta’s Initiative

The Chairman of Odi-Olowo Ojuwoye LCDA, Hon Seyi Jakande, has commended the Eko Club Atlanta for the annual health Initiative of the group.
Jakande, who spoke at the media launch of the comprehensive Healthcare in conjunction with Eko Club Atlanta in Lagos on Monday said his council has designed a total package for the residents which would berth at each of the wards soon.
Acccording to him, the healthcare initiative “is for all residents of Odi -Olowo Ojuwoye LCDA. There will be medical examinations and personalised attendance for each participant. It’s to identify health issues and treatment.
“It’s a proactive approach to healthcare. It would provide access to healthcare and identify potential health issues early with the view to commence treatment immediately.
“We plan to take our healthcare to every nook and cranies of the LCDA. “
According to Hon Jakande, about 1,000 residents would benefit from the exercise which he says would be continuous.
Responding the chairperson of Eko Club Atlanta Medical Outreach, Hon Wunmi Isiotan said the healthcare train would be hosted by the executive chairman of Ojodu/ Ogba LCDA, Hon David Odumbaku at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism NIj Ogba on Tuesday 4th November 2025 while it would hold the last leg on Wednesday at Elegbata Sports Complex in Oke Arin market.
According to her, the host is the Iyalaje of Holloway Market Oke-Arin, Rotarian Chief Mrs. Ogundele.
She added “Over the next few days, our team of dedicated medical professionals will provide critical healthcare services to thousands of individuals.
“Our mission is to bridge gaps in healthcare access and empower communities through quality medical care.

Vice President of Eko Club Atlanta, Hon Adewale Jafojo while responding to how to make healthcare accessible to the people of the state said since government cannot do everything, non profit organisations should complement the efforts of the government to make healthcare affordable.
He said; ” Our amiable governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is trying his best for the state. This is a clarion call to the profit and non profit organisations in the state to support the government with the view to make healthcare affordable for his teeming populace,” he added.
