Governor Oyebanji Concludes Leave, Resumes Work On Monday

The Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Biodun Oyebanji will officially resume office on Monday, November 24th, 2025, following the conclusion of his two-week leave according to a statement signed by his Spokesperson, Olayinka Oyebode.

Reall that Governor Oyebanji who proceeded on a two-week leave on November 9th, cut short the leave on November 19th, retuned to Ekiti and held a meeting with select heads of security agencies in the State on November 20th, to review security situation in the State following security incidents in some neigbouring states.

The two-week leave is part of the Governor’s statutory annual leave.It was the first time Governor Oyebanji will be going on leave since assuming office on October 16th, 2022.

Meanwhile, Governor Oyebanji has felicitated members of the Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE) on the success of their 21st annual conference held in Abuja recently, even as he welcome the President and other executives of the Guild to Ekiti State for their Standing Committee Meeting holding at Ikogosi Warm Springs Resort, Ikogosi-Ekiti between November 23rd to 24th, 2025.
