Gov Idris Formally Hands Over Released Maga Schools Girls To Their Parents

 Kebbi State Governor, Nasiru Idris, has on Wednesday afternoon handed over the 24 students abducted from the Government Science Comprehensive Secondary School Maga to respective parents.

The governor, who was visibly in high spirit, was full of gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his prompt action to see the children released unhurt, which has come to fulfilment today.

He thanked Security agencies for the roll they played, in carrying out orders that led to the children rescue unhurt.

Earlier in her speech, the State Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Professor Halima Bande assured parents of the Students that their wards are hale and hearty as no harm was done to them by the bandits.

“Throughout their sojourned in the hands of their captors they were not molested, neither sexually abused, Allah’s protections was upon them, they went through medical checkups there were no injuries on them.” She said.
