The Super Eagles have qualified for the round 16 after beating hard fighting Tunisia three goals to two in the second match of the group C.
Galatasary striker, Victor Osihmen opened the scoring for the Super Eagles via a header off Ademola Lookman pull out.
The Tunisia fought back to equalise but Winifred Ndidi made it two and Lookman completed the routing through Osihmen’s passes to make it three.
In the second half, the Tunisians fought back and got a goal off a free kick.
The second goal was through a penalty when a VAR spotted a handball against Eagle’s Osayi in the vital area. The resultant spot kick was converted by the Tunisian to make it.
The Eagles last match against the Ugandans is a mere formality to complete the group three matches as the Nigerian side is through to the round of 16.
