Lagos FA Commiserates With Wilfred Ndidi On His Father’s Death

The leadership of Lagos State Football Association has joined millions of Nigerians and football fans all over the world to commiserate with Super Eagles captain, Wilfred Ndidi who lost his father, Tuesday, in a tragic car accident.

The statement signed on behalf of FA board by the Secretary of the Lagos FA, Mrs. Vera Jatto Okechukwu, described the incident as sad and shocking.

“This is indeed, a very sad moment and we can only rally round Wilfred Ndidi and give him all the moral and spiritual supports at this time.

The statement continued, “Wilfred Ndidi is humility, discipline, hardwork and kindness personified.

“Wilfred is a leading light in Nigeria and African and particularly, Lagos football, where he actually cut his teeth playing in the defunct J-League with Nath Boys.”

The FA under the astute leadership of Hajji Gafar Liameed, further assures Wilfred of the continued support of the FA board and the entire Lagos football community.

The statement concluded with prayers for the repose of the soul of Pa Sunday Ndidi, adding that God should also grant the Besiktas of Turkey midfielder the moral strength and fortitude to bear his loss.
