Gridlock: Tinubu Orders Keyamo, FAAN To Suspend Cashless Policy
President Bola Tinubu has ordered the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) to immediately suspend the controversial cashless policy due to traffic congestion at airport gates nationwide.
This comes barely four days after the policy was rolled out, sparking massive gridlock at major airports nationwide.
It will be recalled that FAAN had earlier postponed the commencement of its cashless policy across the Federal airports in Nigeria before it eventually began on Monday which led to gridlock, especially in Lagos and Abuja airports.
