NDC Holds Inuagural Stakeholders Meeting In Ogun
The National Democratic Congress, NDC, has kickstarted its Stakeholders meeting preparatory to its Congress and convention in Ogun State.
The state chairman, Hon Femi Alao, who delivered an address at the meeting, urged members to work assiduously towards berthing a new direction aimed at alleviating people’s poverty in the state.

Hon Alao also delivered a goodwill message from the NDC National Leader, Senator Seriake Dickson, who said it’s incumbent on members to work together in harmony, devoid of crisis plaguing other parties as the Nigeria moves towards 2027 general elections.
At the meeting, state and local government officers were inaugurated with the emphasis on online registration of members to fast track the process.
As part of its women inclusion, NDC reaffirmed at the meeting that women should be part of the state executive committee at the next meeting while two leaders will be nominated from each local government.
Also, NDC recorded attendance from sixteen out of the twenty local governments in Ogun State with the inclusion of the immediate past state chairman, Alhaji Itunu Abioro, who pledged that his people would be invited to the next meeting.
Alao says things are looking good for the NDC in Ogun State, hear him;
“It’s also noteworthy that members of the former governorship aspirant, Jimi Lawal’s faction of the Labour Party, joined the meeting.”
Hon Tope Orefuja and Alhaji Owolabi Alapoti, Deputy chairman and secretary respectively were also at the meeting.
