Just In: GAC Adopts Hamzat As Consensus APC Governorship Candidate

Members of the Governace Advisory Council, GAC, have adopted Lagos state deputy governor, Dr Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat as the consensus governorship candidate for the All Progressives Congress ahead of the 2027 goverborship election in Lagos State.

Leader of the GAC, Chief Tajudeen Olusi who made the announcement at the Government House, Marina on Tuesday in Lagos said all the 21 Members present have all agreed to support Mr Hamzat as the APC Governorship candidate .

This may have foreclose the chances of other governorship aspirants in the APC ahead of its primary in May.
