Amb Animashaun- Ajiboye Hails Femi Falana At 67
A former gubernatorial aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, Ambassador Khairat Animashaun-Ajiboye, has congratulated Barrister Femi Falana, SAN, as he clocks 67 years today.
The top female politician cum rights activist in a congratulatory message she personally signed said the Learned Silk has paid his dues as foremost human right activist who was in the trenches during the military rule.
Ambassador Animashaun-Ajiboye, with nostalgia feeling, said it was Barrister Falana who defended them pro bono in 1993 at the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, during the students’ protest which she was involved in.
She said; ” I want to congratulate Barrister Femi Falana, SAN, on this occasion of his natal day.I wish him many more fruitful services to humanity and motherland.”
Born in Ilawe Ekiti on May 20, 1958, the legal luminary alongside other rights activists played an important role in fighting for the actualization of democracy in 1999 after many years of military rule.
