Jimoh Ibrahim Elected Chair Of UNGA Budget Committee, Praises Tinubu
Nigeria’s Permanent Representatives to the United Nations, Ambassador Jimoh Ibrahim has been elected as the chairman of Budget and the administration committee of the international body.
An elated Ambassador Ibrahim in an appreciation lerter to President Bola Tinubu said; “Let me express my profound appreciations to the President Bola Ahmed GCFR. Mr President as your student in the reforms class be assured that those teaching slides will reflect in the Budget, Appropriations and Humam Resources of the United Nation.

“Let me thank the good people of Nigeria for this historic achievement. I assured my colleagues of 193 member states that at this challenging time in history It my responsibility to provide strategy in chaotic situation,” he added.
The diplomat said he would draw from his experience as a former member of the Nigerian senate committee on budget and appropriation and chairman of inter-parliamentary relations to forge consensus.
Ibrahim also pointed to President Bola Tinubu’s economic reforms in Nigeria as a blueprint for shaping the multilateral institution.
