Just In:Major General Rabe Abubakar’s Widow Rescued

The troops of 17th Brigade of the Nigerian Army has rescued the widow of the late Major General Rabe Abubakar who died in Bandits’ custody at the weekend.

According to the news monitored on Channels Television on Monday in Lagos, the bandits shot the woman due to a heavy bombardment of the troops and fled the scene.

She is said to be receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital.

Recall that Major General Rabe Abubakar and his wife were kidnapped at Matazu local government on their way to Katsina a fortnight ago.
