Super Falcons Will Bounce Back Strongly – Alex Oware

Nigeria football community are still reeling in shock, over the unexpected 3-2 defeat of the Super Falcons to debutants Malawi, in their opening group match of the 2026 WAFCON, ongoing in Morocco.
Many football enthusiasts, stakeholders and aficionados have come strongly to lash out at the team over what has been described as their worst performance at any stage of competitive tournaments in the last five years.
However, some football lovers are not writing off the team, insisting they have the potentials to bounce back and better.
Speaking on the shocking loss, grassroots football promoter and youth developer, Hon. Alex Oware, expressed his disappointment on the loss, even as, he equally believes in the potentials of the team to return to winning ways.
“It’s a painful and expected loss. It’s unbelievable that our darling African queens would lose to a team like Malawi,” he remarked.
“The loss tells us that football is developing and growing fastly, across the world. Let’s not forget that we’ve won the championship for a record 10th time. Therefore, all teams would be coming for our jugular.
“I’m still confident that our girls can go ahead to succesfully defend their defeat,” he enthused confidently.
Hon. Oware, who is the National Coordinator of the group, Young Professionals For Tinubu (YP4T), went ahead to admonish Nigerians to continue supporting the team.
He also advised the team to go ahead to show their stuffs champions are made of and redeem their enviable images as the Queens of African football.
