2027 Re-Election: Senator Tokunbo Afikuyomi Appointed PBAT-KOH ICG Advisory Chair
LAGOS, NIGERIA — In a strategic move to solidify grassroots mobilization ahead of the 2027 presidential re-election campaign for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, former federal lawmaker, Senator Tokunbo Afikuyomi, has been officially appointed as the Chairman of the Advisory Council for the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu / Kadir Obafemi Hamzat Independent Campaign Group (PBAT-KOH ICG).

The appointment was ratified during a high-profile strategic meeting held in Lagos to map out structures for the impending flag-off of the presidential campaigns.
The meeting was attended by key political stalwarts, including:Senator Wasiu Sanni Eshinlokun: The National Director General of the PBAT-ICG.Dr. Seyi Bamigbade, who represented Prince Tajudeen Oluyole Olusi (OON), the Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
Hon. Abudul Hamed Salawu Dullar, the Principal Director General of the PBAT-KOH ICG Lagos State.
Speaking at the session, the National Director General, Senator Eshinlokun, emphasized that this strategic development is engineered to ensure seamless ward-to-ward mobilization and the deployment of effective polling booth canvassers.
He declared that the ICG is fully prepared to deploy its expansive network to mobilize millions of voters across Nigeria to secure a decisive victory for President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
In his remarks, Dr. Seyi Bamigbade confirmed that Senator Afikuyomi’s appointment strictly aligns with the direct directives and leadership vision of the Board of Trustees Chairman, Prince Tajudeen Oluyole Olusi (OON).
He added that the advisory council will provide the necessary strategic foresight to unify all support networks into a cohesive campaign force.
