Sanwo-Olu To Anchor 7th Freedom Online Lecture On Nigeria’s 2027 Outlook

LAGOS, NIGERIA — Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State will deliver the keynote address at the upcoming 7th yearly lecture of Freedom Online.

The high-profile event, according to the Managing Director/ Editor-in-Chief of Freedom Online, Gabriel Akinadewo, is scheduled for Thursday, September 3, 2026, at the Sheraton Lagos Hotel in Ikeja. Proceedings will commence at 9:00 AM.

This year’s lecture focuses on the critical theme: “2027 ELECTIONS, ECONOMY, SECURITY AND NIGERIA’S FUTURE.”

The event will gather prominent political leaders and media stakeholders to discuss the nation’s pressing political and economic trajectories. Former Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, will chair the occasion. Senator (Engr.) Gbenga Daniel will attend as the Special Guest of Honour.

Eze Anaba, President of the Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE) and Editor of Vanguard, will serve as the Chief Host.
