Kaduna Flag off: How Gov. Abba Stole The Show In Kaduna As Kano Dominates Tinubu Re-Election Flag-Off

The just concluded flag-off of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election campaign in Kaduna will be remembered as the day Kano State, under the dynamic leadership of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, stole the entire show. While other states struggled to make an impression, Kano was exceptionally and impressively well represented, and the sheer number, electrifying energy and organic passion of the Kano contingent became the major talking point of the historic rally at the Ranchers Bee stadium.
The unbreakable partnership and strategic alliance between the people’s Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, and the visionary leader of our nation, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was magnificently displayed. Governor Abba’s highly motivated and deeply loyal supporters, both the unprecedented mammoth crowd that stormed Kaduna from Kano and the massive, vibrant Kano community resident in Kaduna, completely dominated the arena. With unalloyed loyalty and thunderous ovation, they cheered Mr. President more passionately and more resoundingly than any other group in the stadium.
The moment President Tinubu was called to the podium, the entire venue erupted into a carnival of love and solidarity, with deafening and unstoppable chants of “Abba! Tinubu Continuity! 2027 Sai Abba, Sai Tinubu!” – a resounding declaration that shook Kaduna and sent a clear message to the nation that Kano has taken full ownership of the Tinubu project.
What is working so well for Governor Abba is straightforward and profound: his sincerity of purpose, uncommon humility, and total commitment to the people. The massive development and unprecedented urban renewal currently transforming Kano State is in perfect alignment with Mr. President’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which Governor Abba, as a loyal APC leader, has fully embraced and is implementing with vigour.
Today, the impactful and people oriented Kano First Agenda has recorded remarkable, visible and life-changing impacts across all 44 Local Government Areas of the state. From modern roads and flyovers to revitalized schools, upgraded health facilities, agricultural empowerment and massive human capital development, the evidence of purposeful governance is everywhere for all to see.
Political observers in Kaduna were unanimous that Governor Abba has proven to be one of the most formidable northern champions of the Tinubu project and a pillar of the APC in the North West. He has demonstrated uncommon loyalty, capacity and grassroots mobilization that remain unmatched.
The message from Kaduna is therefore loud, clear and unmistakable: Kano is fully, totally and unconditionally behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf is the undisputed leader of that victorious charge into 2027 and beyond.
